A maze solving robot is designed to move in a maze and escape through it by following the walls.
The demonstration shows a robot that is placed at the entrance of the maze and is beginning its movement through. By means of clapping or by vibrations produced due to collisions with the walls are the only means of steering the robot through the maze. An error is defined as a turn that is away from the correct path leading from the starting point to the exit. Performance score of the robot is given by tallying the number of mistakes made between in the course of the robot’s movement, after entering the maze and leaving it.
